Lisa —

I’m about to head to Grant Park to talk to everyone gathered there, but I wanted to write to you first.

We just made history.

And I don’t want you to forget how we did it.

You made history every single day during this campaign — every day you knocked on doors, made a donation, or talked to your family, friends, and neighbors about why you believe it’s time for change.

I want to thank all of you who gave your time, talent, and passion to this campaign.

We have a lot of work to do to get our country back on track, and I’ll be in touch soon about what comes next.

But I want to be very clear about one thing…

All of this happened because of you.

Thank you,

Barack

You’re welcome.  You’re the only politician I’ve ever loved…

My bank has been re-branding (read: changing colors and name) since last spring.  It started with green sweatervests.  It ends with this “new” website.
Thank [enter desired folksy explainer of the blessed], they stuck with the reason I chose them.  Their spokepeople: Reeg and Kelly.

Dear Facebook Friends, I sincerely disagree.
I’ll have you know, I win all the time.
For example, the other night the D train I was riding magically turned into my F train. I win.
Two years ago, I won $900 on cash cab. Two weeks ago, I scratched off a free Mac & Cheese at Duke’s. In fact, this pattern of winning dates back to my years as a wee child. In first grade, I won — randomly, in a hat grab — lunch with the teacher, not one, but three times in a row.
You are verifiably wrong.
